Duties
An enthusiastic person is needed by Cork Deaf Association to support the work of Resource Officers and Social Workers based at the Centre.  Main duties include: 
•	assisting in the provision of social support for service users.  This will include meeting elderly Deaf people in their homes and helping to organize and participate in activities for Deaf adults and children.
•	Providing general administrative support to Cork Deaf Association Resource Officer and Social Workers.

Knowledge of Sign Language is essential for this role, as it involves working with deaf members of staff to deliver services.
Familiarity with Deaf Issues is desirable.  
Garda vetting will apply.
